All The Places I’ve Lived
Not quite home,
But not quite not.
An abode nonetheless,
Even as tensions rot.
The changing of place,
Took changing a lot.
All the places I’ve lived,
They’ve taught me a lot.
When will it change?
Was it something I sought?
If I look for the “new”
Will it change what I’ve got?
All the places I’ve lived
Are never a lot
But if I change what I am
Can they be what I’ve sought?
